iiiiiiiiiiits march!

i'd have to say february was pretty intense. haha.
it's now the 3rd month of 08, and forsurely things look like they're clearing up. oh and, the last of my teenage days ends next week. ^_^

i've managed to accomplish some short-term goals in the meantime.

wednesday.
interview at cheesecake. (palo alto). almost got the job, had a nervous breakdown which resulted in over-thinking and over-talking. o_x. they asked me, "so whats the one reason why should we hire you?" i dumb'dly replied, "my smile? =)?" how stuuuuuuuuuuupid! but since we were in the area, might as well grab some thai food.i had the curry. mine was better. (really). (some indian food restaurant nearby.)

thursday.
i finally went to philosophy class and learned a little something about myself. we were on the topic of "constantly being aware of one's surroundings". we tend to have a hard time doing so when we're multi-tasking. Multi-tasking is the art of balancing distractions in an orderly organized manner. Being distracted, however, also means that you are not engaged in the moment. more simply, you are not paying attention. we'll call this state-of-mind "mindfulness". consciousness/awareness/etc.. let's say you're watching tv, emailing, eating dinner, & talkin on the phone at the same time. you'd pretty much be like
well, she told the class that in reality, multi-tasking is a waste of time. it is actually better to take things slow, one at a time, because you'd be engaged with each task. each qualitative interaction will improve. it's like validating / acknowledging/ being aware of each task at hand. so, "stop & pay attention. be aware in Every moment. you'll be 100% there. focus on the individual. meditate - meditation is the mental discipline to the mind". (yeah sounds a bit creepy, but it's pretty true). i figured, i'm probably a forgetful person because i tend to multi-task a lot not necessarily in the real world, but in my mind. my mind multi-tasks with so many different thoughts that i can't stop and focus on just one. Sorry about that.. i'm pretty sure you all have noticed that i'm a bit forgetful. heh.

went back to cheesecake because the lady said so. i talked with john, the GM. after saying something so stupid like, "my smile", i got the job. didn't want it though. (calculated with toll and gas), the pay wasn't satisfying enough. NEXT..

friday.
friday was fun. =). amanda woke me up at 1030 coz we had planned to get piercings with our friend chey. i'm used to saying Cheryl M. though, coz we grew up distinguised as "Cheryl-Ann" and "Cheryl M.". but either way it's still Cheryl. amanda settled with "#1" and "#2".
(amanda).

we were ready to go by 12. hm.. sushi for brunch. why not. lol. great mall afterwards to kill time & money.. and off to cheryl m.'s house. oh how we underestimated traffic..Cheryl m. knew a place in san jo to get some piercings done, so we just went there. Thanks amanda, for our Early Birthday Present. =). and.. your own present as well. haha. in order of first to last, upper body to lower body(pre-ear)(pre-lip)(pre-navel)
Funny how we didn't take a group After-Picture. ? but duuude, if i were cherylm&amanda, i'd be nervous-as-fuck! .. >_<. both of your shits looked painful. but we did it.. we went through with it.. the highlight of our day Accomplished! Thank you cheryl m for tellin us about bulldogs and thanks amanda for the early gifts. =)

(vince)(jack)off to denny's & the day was done. fun times.
saturday.
woke up and bought rachel a tamagotchi without knowing that mother bought her one previously. that brat -_- drove to daddy's. too much fun the night before = a lotta chill the day after. this is what you eat when you're single:and this is what you do:
this is what you also do:
(play crash bandicoot on ps1!)
sunday.
church class at 9. mom recently registered me & cassandra into it. it's pretty interesting. helps me with daily encounters in life. i'll tell you more about that another time. but um. some of mom's "cell-group" members had their meeting at our house after church. me & cassandra & cyrus were stuck with the kids. they're really not as bad as you think. meet jamie ^_^ :
she's 2.
it'd suck to have kids grow up. i wish they could stay at this age.. the cutie patootie stage. =(.
you gotta occupy them though, coz they can run around and do crazy things.. for example,
"the pen doesn't work..." or:
"i like your batman toy can i have him?" or:"gimme something smooth to write on"..*damnit*! too many na's. haha.
=)
