no seriously, keep the change.

PET PEEVE EPIPHANY
when people hand back your cash with the change on top

it's prone to falling! it's unstable! your attempt to multitask one-handedly has officially made the customer experience harder... now the customer has to balance the change to keep it from the rules of gravity, figure out a place to put the damn change, use the other hand to get the stuff that was purchased [not to mention the receipt], put their wallet back to it's habitat, AND walk off so the next person in line can go through the same confusing experience.

THANK YOU VISA/MASTERCARD/BLINK for making life so much easier!

CASH-ONLY PLACES
catch on with technology! stop trying to hide from taxes! it's making your environment a better place to live in!*

(*well, that was the intended idea of taxing.. i could comment more on that but i'll have to get back on that subject another day)

why was change even INVENTED?! wallets are now thicker in size because of the added coin purse embedded inside the wallet. it never holds all your change anyways, it almost always overflows!

the only exception is if the tip jar is in front of the register. then change on top of cash would make TOTAL sense. other than that...
